PRINT & PHYSICAL DESIGN

My dad spent years running a sign and vinyl shop called Sign Up Now!, so much of my design background was built in the physical world. Working alongside him taught me the importance of clear communication through design, strong information hierarchy, and creating work that not only looks good but serves a purpose.

Below are three groups of projects that showcase different areas of my print and environmental design experience.

The first is a collection of work created for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and Riveters. It includes stadium signage, schedule posters, retractable banners, merchandise tags, apparel, and scarf designs. I've also included part of a much larger cross promotion between the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, All Elite Wrestling, and Official League. I highly encourage you to explore the Multimedia section of my portfolio to see the full scope of that campaign, from concept through execution.

The second is one of several employee benefits guides I designed while working at the University of Pittsburgh. My primary challenge was modernizing an outdated publication that had become cluttered and difficult to navigate. The redesign focused on improving readability, strengthening visual hierarchy, and making complex information easier to understand without sacrificing accuracy. This process was repeated across multiple versions for union employees, nonunion employees, faculty, staff, and student employees. Every publication was reviewed extensively by Human Resources and Legal, requiring meticulous attention to typography, kerning, wording, accessibility, and consistency while still meeting demanding production timelines.

The final project is a branding package created for Jerome Bettis' Blue & Gold Golf Invitational. The objective was to create a clean, refined, and professional visual identity that carried consistently across every touchpoint. From color palette to typography and supporting graphics, every design decision reinforced the event's premium feel while maintaining a cohesive brand throughout.
